It is great news that the latest employment statistics show an 11 per cent drop in unemployment in Hertsmere since October 2014 - down 50 per cent drop since October 2010. These figures are excellent news for Hertsmere residents.

I saw evidence of this job creation only last week in Borehamwood when I visited Ugo Foods. Ugo produces all of Waitrose's own brand pasta as well as its own Ugo range. Their latest investment in new plant will enable them to supply Pizza Express. It's a another example of the first class industry we have here in Hertsmere.
