Oliver on Friday visited Bushey’s Longwood School & Nursery for a tour and question and answer session with pupils.
He was quizzed for nearly an hour by pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, before being taken by them on a full tour of the school.
Speaking afterwards, Oliver said: ‘It was a pleasure to visit Longwood School on Friday and answer questions from the pupils.
‘We covered a large number of topics, from Brexit and local matters, to how you become an MP and what it’s like meeting the Queen. I was impressed by the pupils’ questions and how engaged they were with political issues.
‘I also enjoyed my tour of the school and seeing all its classrooms and facilities.
‘I am grateful to Longwood for their hospitality and look forward to visiting again.’
