Oliver Dowden and many others observed the true spirit of Christmas at the Potters Bar town carols with Act 4, Pope Paul School Choir, Potters Bar Community Choir, and St. Giles' Church of England Primary School years 3 & 4.
The event was organised by Churches Together in Potters Bar, who arrange various Christian events throughout the year and aim to encourage unity within the Christian Church. The young children of both Catholic and Church of England primary schools were testament to this aim.
Each year the events raises money for charity, this year's charity was Kadungulu Secondary School in Uganda.
Oliver said:
"This was a great event to celebrate Christmas and the spirit of community, which of course is so important at this time of year. I thoroughly enjoyed the caroling and now I am looking forward to spending Christmas with my family.
"I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year".
