Sir Oliver Dowden MP recently attended the annual Community Health Fair at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar.
The fair had stalls from over 25 charities and local organisations, hosted talks on a wide array of health topics, and offered health checks onboard Hertfordshire County Council’s Better Health Bus.
Sir Oliver said: “It was great to visit the annual Community Health Fair today.
I spoke with lots of great charities and organisations, including Hertfordshire County Council’s Better Health Bus team, Rennie Grove Peace Hospice, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of the Third Age (U3A), and Herts Musical Memories.
I am grateful to each of the attending groups for their valuable work in our community and was very pleased to see lots of local residents engaging with them and making their health a priority.
Thank you to Janice and the other organisers for putting together such an insightful event.”
