Oliver Dowden, MP for Hertsmere, joined in the celebrations yesterday at Woodcock Hill Village Green for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th Birthday. Mr Dowden said: “It was wonderful for the community to come together to say Happy 90th Birthday to Her Majesty. Borehamwood and the rest of Hertsmere has changed enormously over the sixty-four years of her reign. From man walking on the moon to Star Wars being filmed here, so much has happened but one thing has remained constant - the dignity of her public service. Her reign has been a golden thread running though our shared post war history. Long may it continue".
