Oliver recently visited Schopwick Surgery, in Elstree to meet with Partners, patients and others.

Oliver was given a short tour of the surgery, followed by an introductory presentation by GP Partner, Dr Nicholas Small. Dr Small outlined the hard work and excellent service the practice provides and how they offer the very best care and attention to patients.

Schopwick surgery was recently rated overall as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.

Oliver was also pleased to meet with co-founder and director of My Wellness Doctor, Dr Sundhya Raman who discussed the new preventative programme aimed at reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, such as high cholesterol, with small lifestyle changes.

Oliver said: ‘It was great to meet with everyone at Schopwick Surgery and to experience first-hand their strong team ethos.

I was also interested to hear of their new initiative, aimed at lowering the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, such as high cholesterol, by making small lifestyle changes.’

Oliver added: ‘It was great to hear how this is enhancing the lives of local residents and was pleased to hear from participants of the programme on how these steady changes are improving their health and wellbeing.’
