Oliver Dowden today opened the new Crown Post Office in Potters Bar, along with local councillors, Cllr Peter Knell and Cllr Martin Worster. The new branch, located next door to the Potters Bar Sainsburys, has been established in partnership with stationary company, Universal Office Equipment (UOE). Oliver Dowden met with UOE’s Managing Director, Elliot Jacobs, who explained that the new Crown Post Office will have all the existing functions of the previous site, but will now share premises with UOE’s full retail range of designer and essential everyday stationary. The new site will also feature internet access, high-speed printing, copying, scanning, faxing, binding and laminating.
The new partnership is a result of major modernisation programmes across the Post Office network.
Oliver Dowden said:
“The Post Office is vital to the local community and these are great new facilities.
“I wish them every success.”
