Oliver Dowden visited residents at the new McCarthy & Stone assisted living apartments in Potters Bar. The new homes are spacious and specifically designed to cater for older residents.
Oliver was shown around the new facilities, which include a 24 hour emergency call system, and domestic assistance. Whilst care is available, there are also facilities to allow residents to retain their independence, such as in-room kitchens and on-site laundry.
Oliver Dowden said:
“These great new facilities and homes provide pensioners with the chance to still own property, but in a secure and more suitable environment for any health concerns they may have.
“I had great fun meeting and speaking to residents. I wish residents and staff the very best for the future.”
