Oliver Dowden welcomes Government Funding for Elstree Way Corridor Development

I am very pleased that the Government has announced that it will make a £277,000 contribution towards Elstree Way Corridor development. I discussed this project earlier this week with the Housing Minister. He assured me that this money will help support the Council to ensure that the development of the Elstree Way Corridor is well planned for residents.

 

It is also important that alongside new homes we get additional infrastructure. I know how frustrated residents are by pressures on our roads, schools and GP facilities. I continue to make the case for additional funding for these projects and raised it again with the Housing Minister earlier this week. This is a welcome step in the right direction.
