Oliver last Friday had an inside look at the work of Borehamwood Tesco, including a tour of their in-store bakery.

Oliver was invited by Tesco’s head office to the Borehamwood store which serves tens of thousands of people across Hertsmere.

Speaking after the visit, Oliver said: ‘It was interesting to go behind the scenes at Tesco on Friday. The store is relied on by so many of my constituents, so it was useful to learn more about how they operate.

‘I particularly enjoyed my tour of the in-store bakery, seeing the baking in action and speaking with the staff about their work.’
