Oliver Dowden, newly elected MP for Hertsmere, joined Houndswood House care home in Radlett on Friday 19th June to celebrate national Care Home Open Day.

Mr Dowden said: “It was great to visit Houndswood House to meet residents and staff.

I very much support Houndswood House’s initiative in opening their doors to the local community, to celebrate the efforts of the caring staff here and to encourage the next generation of volunteers.

I would like to thank the staff and residents for making me feel so welcome.”
