Oliver on Friday visited Saffron Green Primary School in Borehamwood to join in with their Red Nose Day 2017 celebrations.
Speaking after the visit, Oliver said: ‘It was wonderful to meet with the pupils and staff from Saffron Green for Red Nose Day.
‘There were some great activities for everyone and also some very colourful hairstyles on show from many of the pupils!
‘I know this was one of many events going on across Hertsmere and I’m delighted that over £70 million has been raised for charity this year.
‘I also welcomed the chance to talk with the Headteacher and staff from the Saffron Green about some of the wider challenges they are facing at the moment and we covered a number of important issues.
‘I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I look forward to coming again soon or seeing them in Parliament for a tour.’
