Oliver recently met with Hertsmere’s Chief Inspector, Mark Bilsdon.
Oliver convened a meeting with Chief Inspector Mark Bilsdon to discuss local policing across Hertsmere.
The meeting took place at Hertsmere Civic Offices, where they were also joined by Community Safety Sergeant, Alex Smedley.
Topics of discussions ranged from hate crime and car theft, to knife crime and drug use in the local area.
Oliver said: ‘Great to meet with Hertsmere Chief Inspector Mark Bilsdon recently to discuss the vital work of the local constabulary.
Very interesting to hear the hard work being carried out to tackle hate crime, car theft and possession of knives and drugs in the local area.’
Oliver added: ‘It was also a good opportunity to discuss what steps are being taken to continue providing support to the Jewish community at this difficult time.'
