On Friday 3rd July, Oliver Dowden MP formally opened Bushey Festival.

Oliver said: “It was an honour to open Bushey Festival and a great pleasure to present the prizes to the pre-festival competitions. I would like to congratulate Janet McNulty and her team for organising such an engaging programme of events for the whole community to enjoy.

We are very fortunate to have both Bushey Festival and Bushey Museum at the heart of life in Bushey. My thanks go out to the tremendous hard work and dedication of all the volunteers behind the scenes.”

Following opening the festival and presenting prizes, Oliver visited Bushey Museum and Reveley Lodge photography exhibition.
