Oliver opened Shenley Fete on Sunday 21st June at Harris Lane Playing Fields, Shenley.

Oliver said: “I was delighted to open Shenley Fete and to enjoy the festivities with my family.

This was one of my first engagements as a new MP but while I am new to Parliament I am certainly not new to Shenley and have many childhood memories of the village.

It was a great opportunity to meet and thank the local organisations and charities who work so hard in our community.

Guy Beaton and the rest of his team did a fantastic job organising the event. It was a great way to bring the community together and a fantastic way to spend midsummer’s day.”
