Oliver Dowden recently visited Sacred Heart Primary School, Bushey, to participate in the ‘Joy of Moving’ Programme.
‘Joy of Moving’ is food company, Ferrero UK’s, corporate social responsibility programme, is designed to inspire active lifestyles in children.
The programme is run in a long-term partnership with the English Football League Trust (EFL Trust) and their network of Club Community Organisations (CCO) and Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust (CSET).
Oliver said: ‘I was delighted to spend the afternoon with pupils at Sacred Heart Primary School in Bushey, and to learn more about the excellent Joy of Moving programme.
‘The programme involves getting children moving and learning about active lifestyles. I was happy to participate with the pupils in a game of dodgeball and in the classroom, learning about what makes a healthy meal.
It is wonderful to see that a community programme like this is available to help encourage children to get active through play.’
