Oliver last Friday paid a visit to Wroxham Primary School in Potters Bar.
The visit consisted of a full tour of the school, sitting in on lessons, and a meeting with the senior staff to discuss the future of the school.
Speaking this week, Oliver said: ‘It was a pleasure to come and see Wroxham School. I was very impressed by the school’s facilities and the wonderful ethos they have when teaching all their pupils.
‘I particularly enjoyed seeing their school radio station, located in an old renovated double decker bus in the playground.
‘I also appreciated the opportunity to speak with the Headteacher, Mr Roger Billing, and the senior staff to discuss the school’s plans over the next few years.
‘I look forward to visiting again.’
