Oliver Dowden, MP for Hertsmere, has pledged his support for the Visit Hertfordshire initiative, following a meeting this week.
Mr Dowden said: “It was great to meet with representatives of visit Hertfordshire. The government has announced additional funding for tourism in our region, and they were here in Hertsmere to meet with Morris Bright, our Council Leader. It was good to catch up with them at Elstree studios and hear about opportunities to promote tourism in Hertsmere.
With places like Bushey Museum, Reveley Lodge, Wrotham Park, Shenley Park and of course our world famous TVand film studios there are great possibilities to promote jobs, growth and exciting venues in our region. We are going to stay in touch and I will do all I can to promote the initiative.”
