On Thursday I raised a question in Parliament on behalf of my constituent Kamran Foroughi. Kamran was in the public gallery when I asked the question, along with his wife and his two grandchildren. They had a simple message that they wanted me to convey: "Please let Grandpa come home". Later in the day Kamran launched an e-petition to help secure his father's release: www.change.org/freekamalforoughi . I was reassured that the Leader of the House, Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP acknowledged the seriousness of the case and promised to raise it in person with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. I would urge all Hertfordshire residents to help Kamran's campaign by signing his petition. Last Friday I appeared on BBC Three Counties radio where I made my views clear (I am on between 1:50:48 and 1:54:36): http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p034hxcj#play
