I have now received a response from the Chief Executive of Transport for London to my recent letters relating to the sudden increase in the levels of traffic approaching Stirling Corner.
I am glad that the faulty detector responsible for the optimisation of traffic signal timings has now been replaced. It is disappointing that it took TFL over a month to replace the faulty detector.
A number of challenges remain and I fear that traffic approaching Stirling Corner will continue to be an issue for many of my constituents. I am keen to sit down with representatives from TFL in the near future to discuss a way forward.
