Sir Oliver Dowden MP recently visited Cuffley Active Learning Centre.
The Centre provides outdoor learning experiences for children aged 4 – 18, across a wide range of fun, educational and hands-on school trips. Each itinerary is designed to encourage the development of resilience, team-work and self-confidence.
Oliver said: ‘Following boundary changes that came into effect at the election, I am proud to represent a new ward in Northaw and Cuffley.
‘I was very pleased to have attended Cuffley Camp as a child and I recently visited the now Cuffley Active Learning Centre.
‘The Centre promotes development and education through engaging outdoor activities across their beautiful 96 acre woodland.
‘Throughout the tour, I happily reminisced about my time there as a child and was delighted that the next generation get to experience the same. The highlight was having a go on their climbing wall!’
