Oliver last weekend visited Yavneh College and the Queen’s School, Bushey. The visits saw Oliver spend time talking with pupils and staff, seeing first-hand the work they get up to, as well as question & answer sessions about his work as their local MP.
Speaking this week, Oliver said: ‘It was a great pleasure to visit Yavneh and Queen’s last week, two of our best local schools during Parliament Week.
‘The students asked very good questions about my work as an MP, how I started out at a local school just like them, and a wide variety of other political issues.
‘Hopefully in twenty years’ time we may be seeing some of them in Parliament as well.
‘Thanks to both schools.’
