Oliver visited Potters Bar Fire Station to meet with the firefighters on duty, as well as the Station Commander.

Oliver said: ‘It was a great visit to Potters Bar Fire Station. I had an important discussion with the firefighters about the hard work that they do both fighting fire, but also in the community to proactively teach people about fire safety.

‘It was important to spend some time learning about the service in Hertsmere, and the challenges they face.

‘I would like to thank the team at Potters Bar Fire Station for welcoming me and pay tribute to the hard work of all the station’s firefighters and staff.’
