Oliver Welcomes London Mayoral hopeful Zac Goldsmith to Janmashtami Festival

Oliver Dowden MP for Hertsmere welcomed London Mayoral hopeful, Zac Goldsmith MP, and Conservative Party Chairman, Lord Feldman, to Hertsmere at the Janmashtami Festival this weekend. They were all guests of Bhaktivedanta Manor and met with Srutidharma Das, Temple President and Spiritual Leader Bhakti Charu Swami.

Mr Dowden said: “I was delighted to welcome London Mayoral hopeful Zac Goldsmith MP, the Conservative Party Chairman and Lord Dolar Poppat here to Hertsmere, along with Councillor Cynthia Barker and Councillor Charles Kelly, to join in the festivities.” 

“Bhaktivedanta Manor’s spectacular Janmashtami festival welcomes tens of thousands of pilgrims to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna 5000 years ago. Bhaktivedanta Manor have created another fantastic event. From the exquisite decorations to the delicious food, the wonderful dancing and music, this was a celebration for all to enjoy.”
