Oliver earlier this month joined pupils from St Nicholas Primary School in Elstree, in Parliament during their tour of the Palace of Westminster.
The Year Six pupils who had just enjoyed full tour of the Palace and both Houses of Parliament then had the chance to talk to Oliver about his role as their MP and the work of Parliament.
Oliver said: ‘It was wonderful to meet with the pupils from St Nicholas, one of our great local schools. I was especially pleased to meet them as their visit followed a letter I wrote to their Headmistress last year congratulating the pupils for an excellent anti-bullying campaign they have been running.
‘I very much enjoyed talking with them about Parliament and what they had seen on their tour of the Palace. I am also looking forward to seeing the school myself when I visit in April.’
