Hertsmere has a vibrant and growing local economy, which I remain determined to support.
In Radlett/Bushey our local businesses form an important part of our communities and high streets. We are fortunate locally to have a fantastic range of thriving small businesses, and they form the backbone of our local economy.
I make regular visits to small businesses in Hertsmere and have met countless local business owners during my time as your Member of Parliament. These fantastic businesses serve the local community and have a transformative impact on the economy – something I have always been clear we must champion and protect.
I was delighted to promote Small Business Saturday this year, on its tenth anniversary. It was a pleasure to be back at Battlers Green Farm in Radlett, where I have enjoyed the shopping village and tea rooms many times.
It was great to meet with local stall owners, and see what delights are on offer. I visited Bagels + Schmear, Reeds Fruiterers, Lily Blu Boutique and picked up some sausages at Brimarks Butchers!
Our local small businesses enhance our high streets. They keep our distinct towns and villages unique and inspire a pleasant visit – helping protect what makes our area so special.
I encourage everyone to get out in Radlett/Bushey and support our small local businesses, giving them the backing they need to grow and succeed.
