Yavneh College Primary School opening in September 2016

I am very pleased to hear that Yavneh College Primary School will be opening its doors in September 2016. I have long been a supporter of plans for a new Primary school and was delighted when they were approved by the Department for Education over the summer.

Since plans were approved I have been contacted by a number of constituents asking about the planned opening date. I know that the leadership at Yavneh College have been working towards announcing a 2016 starting date and I've also raised it directly with Nicky Morgan, Secretary of State for Education. I am delighted to hear that this is now going to happen. I wish the newly appointed headteacher, Caroline Field, the very best of luck.
