Oliver Dowden, Member of Parliament, this week joined a group of students from Dame Alice Owen’s School, Potters Bar, in Parliament during their tour of the Palace of Westminster.
The students who had just enjoyed full tour of the Palace and both Houses of Parliament then had the chance to quiz Mr Dowden on his role as their MP and the work or Parliament.
Oliver said: ‘It was great to meet with the students from Dame Alice Owen’s, one of our fantastic local schools.
‘I very much enjoyed my question and answer session with them and their teachers. As ever Dame Alice’s students kept me on my toes with a series of tough and wide ranging questions on everything from Brexit to the green-belt and Donald Trump. I look forward to welcoming them to Parliament again soon. I also I wish them all the very best of luck with their studies and the future.’
