Oliver has lobbied Transport for London (TfL) to raise as a matter of urgency the disruption faced by Borehamwood residents as a result of roadworks on the A41 in Edgware.
A number of lanes have been closed as TfL’s works on Apex Corner in Edgware have entered a new phase. This has caused significant disruption for those in the Borehamwood area travelling to London.
Oliver said: 'A number of residents in the Borehamwood area have written to me to express their frustration at the severe disruption they are facing as a result of TfL’s roadworks on the A41.
Many of my constituents rely on reaching locations in London for work and to take their children to school. They are now facing serious disruption and delays in doing so.
I have therefore raised this issue as a matter of urgency with TfL and have asked them to take action to reduce the impact of these works on those in the Borehamwood area.'
