Oliver Opens Bushey Jubilee Acoustic Festival

Oliver opened Bushey Jubilee Acoustic Festival on Sunday. Returning after a two-year break, Mr Dowden was delighted to once again launch this local event, this time commemorating Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Oliver said: ‘It was great to open Bushey Jubilee Acoustic Festival again this year. It was a superb day dedicated to the performing arts, with over 80 local artists performing.

I would like to say well done to everyone involved and thank Raymond Coffer for once again organising such a special community event.

It is always a joy to see people coming together for these occasions, especially as many have been on hold throughout the pandemic. As we marked Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with so many residents at the festival. I already look forward to next year’s event.’

The Bushey Jubilee Acoustic Festival was held on Sunday 12 June 2022, in the Mary Forsdyke Gardens and Warren Lake, Bushey.
