Oliver Receives Warm Welcome From Immanuel College Prep School

The Member of Parliament for Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden was recently invited to Immanuel College Prep School.

 

Mr Dowden was welcomed by Headmaster, Dr Millan Sachania and Mrs Nicole Greenwold along with other teachers.

 

The students have recently been learning about the functions of Government, House of Commons and the House of Lords.

 

Oliver said: ‘It was a delight to recently visit Immanuel College Prep School. I particularly enjoyed answering the children’s questions on my role as their local Member of Parliament for Hertsmere and my new role as Deputy Prime Minister.

 

Oliver added: ‘It was great to see them showing a genuine interest in politics at such a young age and I do hope that I was able to provide some insight into my roles.’
