Oliver Dowden was recently invited to St Albans School to speak with their sixth form politics students, many of whom are constituents.
Oliver was welcomed by Headmaster, Jonathan Gillespie and Head of Politics, Alex Alcoe.
Oliver gave a talk to students studying politics about his work as the MP for Hertsmere and Deputy Prime Minister. He then took some questions from the students.
Oliver said, ‘It was a pleasure to be invited to St Albans School recently, where many of my constituents send their children to.
‘I was also happy to chat to students about my political career and answering some of their interesting questions.
‘It was great to see so many of them engaging in politics and I do hope I was able to provide some useful insights into my role.’
