Sir Oliver Dowden MP recently met with Hertsmere’s new Chief Inspector, Ashleigh Hair.
In the meeting, Oliver welcomed CI Hair to her role, having started in May this year.
Oliver raised constituents’ concerns and found out about what action the Constabulary were taking to address these concerns.
Oliver said: ‘It was a pleasure to meet with Hertsmere’s new Chief Inspector, Ashleigh Hair, recently.
‘We spoke about issues including domestic burglary, vehicle theft and fears of antisemitic behaviour. I was pleased to learn that the intelligence-based approach that is in operation is leading to good results.
‘Meetings like this are a great opportunity to make sure there is a strong relationship between my work as Hertsmere’s Member of Parliament and the Chief Inspector’s work on policing and crime reduction.
‘I look forward to working with her to make Hertsmere a safe place to live.’
