Sir Oliver recently had the pleasure of attending Immanuel College’s Prize Giving Evening as Guest of Honour.

After awarding prizes to pupils for their academic and extra-curricular successes, Sir Oliver delivered a speech centred on some of Immanuel’s core values: curiosity, aspiration, responsibility, and kindness.   

The evening also included speeches from teachers and students, as well as musical performances. 

Sir Oliver said: “It was a pleasure to be Guest of Honour at Immanuel College’s Prize Giving Evening and award prizes to students in recognition of their excellent achievements and hard work.  

I greatly enjoyed the inspiring speeches from Head Boy, Eliav Stafler, and Head Girl, Olivia Myeroff, on their time at Immanuel. I hope that my own speech about Immanuel’s values and their relevance to my career in politics was equally uplifting.  

I was also incredibly impressed by the musical recitals. 

Everyone involved should be very proud.”
