The Member of Parliament, Sir Oliver Dowden MP recently visited Cranborne Primary School in Potters Bar.
Sir Oliver met with Headteacher, Mrs Claire Keilty and Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Rachael Wood discuss key issues and challenges for the school.
The school has recently been ranked as fifth best primary school in Hertfordshire, based on end of year 6 standards across reading, writing and maths.
Sir Oliver spent time looking around the school and meeting with the students to hear about their experience at the school.
Sir Oliver said: ‘It was wonderful to visit Cranborne Primary School today in Potters Bar alongside County Councillor John Graham to meet with the students, hear about their school and take their thoughtful questions.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Headteacher, Mrs Claire Keilty and Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Rachael Wood to discuss key issues for the school and to congratulate them on being selected as one of the best primary schools in Hertfordshire.
