Conservative candidate for Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden, today visited the new housing development on Rossway Drive, Bushey. The development is expected to deliver much needed new homes when fully completed.

Oliver met with representatives from NHBC and the developers, Barratt Homes, at the Sandbrook Park site, which was formerly a scrap yard. The development is offering a variety of new three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Oliver Dowden said:

“This was a very useful briefing on this development and the issues facing the construction industry. This site was badly degraded as a scrap yard so it's good to see it being put to better use.

"It is important that we get the infrastructure in place for new developments so I was pleased to hear about plans to upgrade the access road. 

“I wish both the developers and future residents the best of luck.”
