Conservative candidate for Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden, today met with members of the National Farmers' Union at Hill Farm, Bushey, to discuss issues facing Hertsmere’s farming community.
Members present represented farms across Hertsmere. They were keen to hear Oliver’s views on the farming industry.
Oliver Dowden said:
“Today’s meeting has been very informative and highlighted the wide range of issues affecting our farmers.
“The farming community is an important part of our local economy. They also help protect and care for vast swathes of Hertsmere’s beautiful countryside.”
