Conservative parliamentary candidate for Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden, attended the launch of ‘Friends of Elstree and Borehamwood Museum’, where he met with organisers, learnt more about the history of Elstree and Borehamwood and shared in some afternoon tea.
The museum is run by volunteers and the launch hoped to attract ‘Friends’ and more volunteers. Everyone was pleased with the turnout and enjoyed the quiz and history talk.
Oliver Dowden said:
“I was delighted to attend this friends’ event and meet so many supporters. They play a vital role in providing ongoing support for the museum. I look forward visiting the museum itself very soon.”
