Oliver Dowden, newly elected MP for Hertsmere, met Funky Friendz after school club on Friday 26th June. 

Mr Dowden said: “It was great to meet Kelly and hear all about Funky Friendz. This is a fantastic idea, and a brilliant opportunity for children locally to get together and have fun with their friends in a safe environment.

The vision and drive to get this initiative off the ground has been tremendous, and Kelly and her team are to be hugely congratulated. The community is behind them and with the support of The Borehamwood Times’ readership I am sure they will meet their fundraising goal.

I will lend all the help I can to Kelly and Funky Friendz.”
