Oliver recently visited Dame Alice Owen’s School, in Potters Bar.
Oliver was welcomed by Headteacher, Mrs Hannah Nemko and Chair of Governors, Mr Gary Haigh. Following a short meeting, Oliver also had the pleasure of speaking to Year 12 and 13 Politics students.
Oliver said: ‘It was a great pleasure to return to Dame Alice Owen’s School in Potters Bar to catch up with Headteacher, Mrs Hannah Nemko.
I was also pleased to chat to the sixth form politics students about my new role in Cabinet and answering some of their interesting questions. I do hope I was able to provide some useful insights into my role.
I’m delighted that my office was able to secure a visit for the students in April to the Houses of Parliament, which I hope will further enrich their interest in politics and current affairs.'
