The Member of Parliament, Oliver Dowden MP recently visited Pursley Farm in Shenley.
Run by third-generation tenant farmer, Eveey Hunter, Mr Dowden discussed the diverse farming enterprise that has been built by the Hunter family.
Pursley Farm now comprises of contract farming area, a gritting enterprise, and business tenants. Mr Dowden discussed the most pressing issues facing the farm, and opportunities for the future.
Mr Dowden said: ‘I was delighted to visit Pursley Farm in Shenley recently to meet Eveey Hunter, a third-generation tenant farmer in Hertsmere.
We spoke about the issues facing local rural businesses, including internet connectivity and public rights of way. It was also great to see the fantastic Christmas trees they had on offer!
